- This week introduces students to Hungarian mathematics education, language, and culture.
Weeks 2 & 3: July 3 – 14
You will take the following mathematics education courses:

- GPS Teaching Geometry through Problem Solving (8 x 150 min sessions)
- GMP Gamification and Playfulness in Teaching Mathematics (8 x 150 min sessions)
All classes and events (unless otherwise indicated) will take place in the BSME Building.

Weeks 4 & 5: July 17 – 28

- DLP Discovery Learning: The Pósa Method (8 x 150 min sessions)
- PRC Practicum: Experiencing the Hungarian Approach (10 x 120 min sessions)
All classes and events (unless otherwise indicated) will take place in the BSME Building.

Week 6: July 30 – August 6
You will engage in a field experience at a mathematics camp for grade 5–12 students organized by the Mathematics Connects Us Association, where you will be involved in mathematics classes and leisure activities, and interact with teachers and students.
- The camp is located at Pálköve, a few minutes walk from the beach at Lake Balaton.
- You will travel from Budapest to Pálköve as a group on July 30 and return to Budapest on August 6.
- The field experience is part of the course Practicum: Experiencing the Hungarian Approach through Observation and Teaching.
